College Station whips Willis 55-7

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – College Station pulled away from Willis in the second quarter to win their fourth District 8-5A Division I of the season 55-7.

The Cougars led 14-0 after one, but upped the advantage to 34-0 by the half.

Brandon Joseph got the scoring started for the Cougars with a 50-yard fumble return for a touchdown in the first quarter. The second College Station touchdown came on an 8-yard Brandon Williams to Zach Williams touchdown toss in the corner of the end zone.

Williams and Roderick Brown scored touchdowns on short runs in second quarter and Alan Guerrieri added a pair of field goals.

The Cougars improve to 7-1, 4-1 and will host Tomball next Friday.

Willis is 2-6, 1-4 and will face Waller.
