Dimery resigns after three seasons on A&M Consolidated bench

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) -- A&M Consolidated is looking for a new boys' head basketball coach after Thirman Dimery turned in his resignation Wednesday. That according to athletic coordinator Lee Fedora.

Dimery has been the Tigers head basketball coach the past three seasons. Prior to that he was an assistant on Rick German's staff for three seasons.

Coach Dimery lost his father recently and said Wednesday night on the phone that he's moving closer to his family in Kerrville to spend more time with his family.

The Tigers made the playoffs all three seasons with Dimery on the bench as head coach.
