Division II & III kicks off State 7 on 7 play at College Station's Veterans Park

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) -- The State 7 on 7 football tournament got started Thursday afternoon at College Station's Veterans Park and the Brazos Valley represented by Hearne, Bremond, Buffalo, and Crockett.

128 teams will compete in the three day summer time touch football tournament. During Thursday's Division II and III action the Brazos Valley had four teams that were in action in 8 separate pools to determine seeding for Friday's Championship Bracket play. Division III kicks off at 8 A.M. while Division II begins at 9 A.M.

*Crockett (1-2) will take on Graham Friday at 9 A.M. on field 7A in bracket play.

Division I bracket play will crank things up at 1 P.M. on Friday with defending 7 on 7 State Champion College Station taking on El Paso Parkland at 1 on field 7A. A&M Consolidated will also be in action at 1 too. The Tigers, who lost to the Cougars a year ago in the title game, will take on Arlington on field 1A.
