Ezar stops by Ranger fieldhouse as he begins transition to Rudder High School

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) -- New Rudder High School athletic coordinator and head football coach Eric Ezar was in town Tuesday. Having been in Willis the last six years, Ezar has seen some Rudder athletes in action and is excited to get started in the coming weeks.

"Seeing the athletes as the track meets from Rudder that makes me think that I have some confidence that Rudder can be very successful," said Ezar.

"I've very excited about that. When I came to Willis, I kinda had the opportunity to change the program around a little bit. We've had a lot of success in athletics and kinda want to do that in football at Rudder. Really all sports too. I look at Rudder with athletes and the area is growing and just kinda see it as a gold mine in the waiting," added the Rangers new athletic coordinator and head football coach.

Coach Ezar meet with the high school athletes and staff this afternoon and plans on hitting the ground running next week.
