BRYAN, Texas -- Texas A&M guard Admon Giler wrote on his Instagram account that he was diagnosed with a blood clot in his bicep before the season. Gilder has not played for the Aggies this season.

Texas A&M head coach Billy Kennedy said Friday Gilder is still out indefinitely. "He's looking into getting some help with that and hopefully the help will get him ready and he'll be ready for next year is kind of what we're looking at at this point."

Gilder could be redshirted this season and return to Texas A&M next year. Kennedy said he will have some options to play professionally. Gilder is on track to graduate from Texas A&M in May.
