Huntsville drops heartbreaker to Fort Bend Marshall

CYPRESS, Texas (KBTX) -- Fort Bend Marshall scored on a trick play on 4th and 12 with under a minute to play and held on to beat Huntsville 47-43 in the 5A Division II Region III championship game Thursday night at Cy-Fair FCU Stadium.

Huntsville rallied from a 20-0 first quarter deficit and took their first lead on a 69-yard Matthew Southern to Jaylon Griffin touchdown pass with 2:31 to play. However they could not get the final stop and came up short, ending a tremendous season with a 12-2 record.
