Lady Tigers beat Georgetown to force game 3 Saturday at Waco ISD

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) -- The A&M Consolidated Lady Tiger softball team team got a sacrifice fly from Olivia Taylor in the 7th inning and beat Georgetown 3-2 Friday night at the Pete Bienski Junior Athletic Complex.

A&M Consolidated took a 2-0 lead with a pair of 4th inning runs. Aiyanna Coleman singling off the wall in center driving in Lauren Herring to make it 1-0.

Then Claire Sisco got an infield single driving in McKenna Jackson for a 2-0 advantage.

Georgetown evens things at 2 in the 5th with a pair of runs, but Mackenzie Mitchell was able to keep the Lady Eagles off the scoreboard in the 6th and 7th innings at 'The Cotton Palace' setting up Taylor's game winner.

The 'winner take all game' between A&M Consolidated and Georgetown will be played Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Waco ISD Sports Complex.
