McCoy becomes 4th underclassman to declare early for NFL Draft

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) -- Texas A&M offensive lineman Erik McCoy declared on his Twitter account Thursday night that he would forego his final year of eligibility at Texas A&M and declare for the upcoming NFL Draft.

McCoy was a team captain in all 12 regular season games helping the Aggies gain 5,590 total yards.

McCoy paved the way for the SEC’s leading rusher in Trayveon Williams as the Texas A&M offense gained 500-or-more yards of total offense in five games.

He was also given the Offensive Unselfish Leader Award at the team’s annual banquet.
