NCAA tennis first round postponed to Saturday

COLLEGE STATION – Inclement weather in College Station forced the opening round of the NCAA Men’s Tennis Championship at the Mitchell Tennis Center to be postponed until Saturday. Oklahoma and Arizona are set to face off at 12 p.m. Saturday with Texas A&M and A&M-Corpus Christi to follow at 3 p.m.

The second round matchup has been pushed to Sunday at 1 p.m. The winner of Sunday’s matchup is set to face the winner of the regional taking place at No. 3 Wake Forest next weekend for a place in the quarterfinals at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.
