Friday, March 22, 2019 • 6 p.m. (CT)
Mitchell Tennis Center • College Station, TX

The No. 9 Texas A&M men's tennis team faces its seventh top-25 team of the season as take on No. 25 Arkansas (11-7, 2-2) Friday evening at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center. The Aggies (15-3, 5-0 SEC) and Razorbacks face off for the 34th time as first serve is set for 6 p.m.

“Arkansas has beaten some very good teams that we have had battles with in the last month so will be another tough test for our team,” Texas A&M head coach Steve Denton said. “All of our matches recently have been much tighter than the scores would indicate. There is a lot of parity in our league and our guys will need to play well tomorrow. This is our last home match for a while so it is critical that we get out to a fast start. Weather should be a great Friday night so we are looking for a big crowd to come support our team.”

The Maroon & White return to action after winning their last 12 matches, including a perfect 5-0 start to the SEC season. The Aggies won their 19 straight regular season SEC match as they defeated LSU, 5-2, in Baton Rouge last Saturday. Following the victory over the Bayou Bengals, A&M swept New Orleans 7-0 and topped No. 20 Oklahoma, 4-3, on Tuesday evening.

The Aggies are off until March 29 as they travel to South Carolina followed by a Sunday showdown with No. 4 Florida on Sunday.
