NAVASOTA, Texas (KBTX) -- The Navasota varsity girls basketball team got 2 wins this past weekend to finish in 5th place in the Sealy Tiger Invitational.
The Rattlers defeated Hallettsville 52-40, lost to 6A Brazoswood 64-53, lost to 5A Montgomery Lake Creek 42-39 and then beat host Sealy 59-22.
Sophomore post Kel'neisha Moore and Junior forward Sha'Dimon King paced the Big Blue in scoring with 41 and 40 points respectively.
Guards Ta'shaunna Leigh and Shanquisha Curley added 33 points and 22 points each for the 4 games.
The Rattlers season record is now 2-4. They host 5A Waller on Monday and then travel to take on state ranked Hitchcock on Tuesday morning.
