COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M Softball’s Riley Sartain was named to the Southeastern Conference Community Service Team, the league office announced Wednesday.

Sartain has been a part of several community service projects during her time in College Station, participating in the Aggies CAN Food Drive all four years of her career. The senior served as a Student Athlete Advisory Committee representative in 2018-19 and coordinated food drives at multiple volleyball and soccer contests.

Sartain has been heavily involved with Swing4Christ which introduces inner-city children to the games of baseball and softball in her hometown of Aledo, Texas.

The SEC sponsors Community Service Teams for all 21 league sponsored sports. The Community Service Team looks to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to their community in superior service efforts.
