The Texas A&M men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs face a challenging 2018-19 schedule, highlighted by 12 days of competition at the Rec Center Natatorium.

Six of the eight dual meets scheduled for the men’s program are against schools who scored at last season’s NCAA Championship, including a November 2 matchup at reigning NCAA Champion Texas. Last fall, the Aggies defeated Texas 158-142 to earn the programs’ first dual meet win over the Longhorns since 1962.

The men host TCU (Dec. 1), Incarnate Word (Dec. 15) and LSU (Jan. 19), in addition to the Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 14-16). LSU tied for 23rd at last season’s NCAA Championship.

The women host TCU (Dec. 1), Rice (Dec. 1), SMU (Jan. 5), LSU (Jan. 19), Vanderbilt (Jan. 26) and Houston (Jan. 26), in addition to the Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 14-16).

The Texas A&M women’s swimming and diving program faces five teams that scored in the NCAA Championships in dual meets, starting with an October 12-13 trip to face fifth-place Louisville and 13th-place Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio. The women have duals scheduled at Texas (Nov. 2), who finished sixth at last years’ NCAA Championship, at 30th-place Alabama (Oct. 20) and at home against 38th-place LSU.

The men’s program faces ninth-place Louisville and 28th-place Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio (Oct. 12-13), plus 13th-place Alabama Oct. 20 in Tuscaloosa, Ala. In addition, the men’s program competes at the Orange Bowl Swim Classic (Jan. 3) in Key Largo, Fla. and at SMU (Feb. 1), who tied for 40th at last year’s NCAA.

The 2019 SEC Championships run from February 19-23 in Athens, Georgia. The 2019 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships take place in Austin, and run from March 20-24 for the women and March 27-31 for the men.
