DALLAS --- The No. 10 Texas A&M men’s swimming and diving team will face longtime regional rival SMU in dual meet action on Friday at 6 p.m. at the Mustangs’ Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center.

It will be the Aggies’ final tune-up before the Southeastern Conference Championships, which will be contested Feb. 19-23 at the University of Georgia. Texas A&M takes a 4-3 dual meet record into Friday’s road matchup, while the Mustangs have compiled a 3-1 record in dual meets.

Notables …

· The Aggies have won the last six meetings against SMU and eight of the last 10 encounters.

· Head coach Jay Holmes is 9-5 against SMU in his previous 14 seasons as Texas A&M head coach.
