BRISTOL, Conn.- Selected as one of the nation’s seven most prominent players, Texas A&M sophomore guard Chennedy Carter participates in NCAA Women’s Basketball National Media Day at ESPN’s campus Wednesday.

While in Bristol, Carter contributes to social media chats with the Associated Press and the NCAA’s social media channels, sits down with some of the most prominent women’s basketball writers in the country, and tapes segments with Holly Rowe, Rebecca Lobo and LaChina Robinson for use throughout the season.

Fans can follow @12thMan on Instagram, as Carter takes over the story with behind-the-scenes content. Live content is featured on Twitter and Instagram on @AggieWBB, as well as @NCAAWBB throughout the day. Fans are able to submit questions to any of the seven student-athletes on Twitter by using #AskNCAAWBB.

Joining Carter at ESPN’s campus are Kalani Brown (Baylor), Asia Durr (Louisville), Sabrina Ionescu (Oregon), Arike Ogunbowale (Notre Dame), Katie Lou Samuelson (Connecticut) and Teaira McCowan (Mississippi State).

Carter was the unanimous National Freshman of the Year in 2017-18, averaging 22.7 points per game, the most among Division I freshmen. Carter posted three of the five highest single-game point totals in school history—including a school-record 46 points at USC, which included the game-winning basket and a school-tournament-record 37 against DePaul, highlighted by the game-winning 3-pointer with 3.2 seconds to play.
