COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M golfers Courtney Dow and Brooke Tyree were named Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars. Both student-athletes received this accolade for the first time in their respective careers.

With a required minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, a total of 1,097 women’s collegiate golfers were recognized with this prestigious honor.

Dow averaged 73.59 strokes over 34 rounds in 2018-19, including her first individual victory at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational. The allied health major was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the third consecutive season and was selected to the SEC Community Service Team.

Tyree had the sixth-best stroke average in Texas A&M history for a freshman, averaging 75.09 strokes in 2018-19. The engineering major was named to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.

This continues a trend of strong academic recognition for the Texas A&M women’s golf team, as the squad had all seven of its members named to the SEC Honor Roll.
