Being the high school football coach at Somerville HIg School isn't going to work out for Ty Warren. Back on April 11, 2019 KBTX Sports reported that Somerville ISD's Board of Trustees had met with the two time Super Bowl Champion and agreed on him becoming the Yeguas next head football coach contingent on Ty beginning the process of getting his state of Texas teaching certification.

That process has hit a road block this week and Somerville has reposted the position for high school head football coach.

Ty texted KBTX Sports Friday evening stating that the timing and separate agendas won't allow for both sides to come to terms.

Ty went onto thank the Somerville ISD Board and Superintendent Karla Sparks.

Warren is not allowing the setback to discourage him from coaching high school football.

"I am very excited and optimistic about opportunities that could surface as my focus is geared towards leading someone's program in a positive direction," ended Warren.
