The Museum of the American G.I. is holding a two day event commemorating the Centennial of Armistice Day.
Gates open November 10 and 11 at 9:30 a.m. at 19124 Highway 6 South. Parking will be available on site and at Santa's Wonderland Comet Lot.
The public can tour WWI trenches, visit with authentically dressed reenactors, fire a WWI Cannon and make WWI crafts.
The two day event will culminate Sunday with a short program commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day featuring a WWI battle reenactment.
The reenactment will end promptly at 11:00 a.m. marking the cessation of hostilities that took place at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918.
