Wednesday Midday PinPoint Forecast 6/26
Early morning begins a bit muggy, but comfortable with temps right around 70 area wide. Like yesterday, we'll aim for the low 90s this afternoon with a decent south breeze, but rain may have something to say about that. If storms can fire up around sunrise just west of the Brazos Valley, scattered rain & a few rumbles of thunder may try to drift west to east across the area through early afternoon. For now, the odds are only around a 30% to 40% shot.
High pressure takes over to close out the week -- that leaves the rain chance near or right at flat. Highs are seasonable in the low-to-mid 90s Thursday and Friday. Some Saharan Dust in the atmosphere will add a hazy effect to our skyline. Weekend plans? Don't plan on a washout but know that afternoon showers and scattered thunderstorms are possible as a broad area of low pressure drifts west to east through Southeast Texas.
Hot and humid to finish the week with a look at the tropics!
