Election Day Recap: A look at rain totals across the Brazos Valley
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - A cold front pushed across the Brazos Valley through the first half of Tuesday, bringing mainly shower activity and a few rumbles to parts of the area, before the region settled into a sunny and fall-like afternoon.
Below is a collection of rain reports from official stations and weather watchers across the Brazos Valley from Tuesday specifically.

Looking Ahead
Behind Tuesday’s front, cooler and drier air will filter into the Brazos Valley along a northerly wind, setting the stage for a beautiful and comfortable Wednesday. Low temperatures will start out in the 50s, with afternoon highs topping out in the mid-70s.

Through the afternoon, winds will gradually turn back out of the south and east, allowing Gulf moisture to begin pushing back into the region ahead of a reinforcing cold front expected to move through later Thursday, eventually sweeping off the coast by early Friday.

With the area finding some moisture recovery, this front could squeeze out a few showers as it makes its way south across the region, though coverage will be isolated, with most expected to stay dry.
Behind the second front, temperatures will settle back into the upper 60s and low 70s each afternoon through the weekend, with plenty of sunshine accompanying the cooler temperatures. All in all, a pretty comfortable stretch of fall weather is shaping up across the Brazos Valley through the rest of the week!
